The Thrill of the Grill

Celebrate the invention of fire as we heat up the grill creating a barbecue extravaganza from start to finish. This class features Kevin Pine, grill maestro extraordinaire and owner of Kitchen and Bath Plus and focuses on tips and techniques that ensure a fabulous product from the oldest known method of cooking. We are thrilled to showcase the versatile ceramic grill from Kamado Joe™ to bake, roast, grill, sear and smoke. While the grilling power of ceramic cookery is awesome - these recipes can be used on any barbeque. The night’s feast kicks-off with Grilled Shrimp, Sausage and Cherry Tomato Skewers with a Pimenton Glaze and Slow-Roasted Pork Shoulder Mini-Sliders with an Outrageous Mop Sauce. We’ll use the grill’s intense heat to bake a White Pizza with Arugula and Prosciutto and follow that up with a primer on grilling veggies for Orzo Salad with Pesto and Pine Nuts. The star of the evening will be a Seared New York Steak with Salsa Verde. While the grill is hot – we’ll brew up some Dessert “Hobo” Packs (seasonal fruits cloaked in yummy sauces done on the ‘cue). Dress cool and casual because the “wow” factor will be smokin’ hot.
